I need to raise a very serious brewery matter. Yesterday, Queensland Health workers absolutely clocked in and showed up strong (love all the different scrubs) but I couldn’t help but notice a distinct lack of #firefighters and #police at the bar. Now I am not saying I am disappointed but I was standing there staring at perfectly poured beers waiting for you. Consider this your official call-out (and invitation). Welcome to 2026. We’ve decided to ease into the new year very slowly. The kitchen is doing a soft opening for lunch only January 2, 3 and 4 Dennis is running the kitchen while the rest of the crew enjoy some well-deserved time off. Mel is in charge. As we head into the final days before Christmas, our last Sunday deserves something special. While live music usually fills our Friday and Saturday nights, this weekend is different. Stony Creek Brewing presents a big weekend of live music in the laneway. (12 & 13 Dec) Friday night with Billy Bridge is fully booked, and updates will be shared if availability changes. Saturday night with Damien Johnston is filling quickly, and guests are encouraged to book early. Enjoy local musicians, independent beer and a welcoming laneway atmosphere at one of Ipswich’s most vibrant destinations.

Christmas OPEN Hours at Stony Creek Brewing 27–28 December Kitchen is having a nap (closed) but the bar + takeaway is open 12–3pm. Come in, grab a beer, and watch Mel clean the venue (thats what Karen is going to do). 2–3–4 January Kitchen open with a modified menu because Dennis is in charge… which means there’s a 99% chance he’ll sneak chilli into something. 12–3pm each day, and the bar stays open until 5pm to help you recover from Dennis’ experiments.
